As Mayor of the City of Plymouth, I want to welcome you to our hometown page. Here in Plymouth, we have the peace of mind of living in a small, thriving community with the benefits of a big city.

The City of Plymouth is located on the banks of the Yellow River in north- central Indiana. Plymouth is the county seat for Marshall County and has a population of nearly 10,000 residents. Plymouth was incorporated as a city on April 25, 1873. US 30 and US 31, both 4-lane divided highways, intersect near Plymouth.

Plymouth has recently completed a Greenways Trail that opened in 2007 and the monument of Chief Menominee is nearby. On Labor Day weekend, Plymouth hosts the Marshall County Blueberry Festival, the State of Indiana’s largest four-day festival. Nearly 300,000 people visit the Festival every year!

The 1st weekend in June you will find the Yellow River Festival just east of downtown and on the 3rd Saturday in June, you can attend the Latino Festival at Centennial Park.

Encore Performance Arts hosts the “Music In The Park” series throughout the summer along with several other entertainment venues during the year. You can also visit the Heartland Artists’ Gallery at 203 N. Michigan Street.
